Practise workplace communication, appointments, forms and professional introductions.

Nursing learners can practise medical vocabulary and handovers; language learning does not grant a licence to practise.

Exam & certificate

Goethe-Zertifikat or telc: prepare here, certify with the exam provider

The proposed package includes an allowance toward one first official exam attempt at the target level. Before enrolment, the actual provider/centre, accepted certificate type, current fee and slot must be confirmed in writing. Goethe-Institut or telc—not Prep IQ—issues the official certificate, and only if the candidate passes. If the centre fee exceeds the allowance, any difference, travel cost or retake must be disclosed before payment. No exam is pre-booked and passing is not guaranteed.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

Does course completion automatically give me a Goethe or telc certificate?

No. You must take and pass the selected official exam. Prep IQ provides preparation; the independent exam provider issues its certificate.

Is B2 accepted for every nursing route?

B2 is commonly required for professional nurse authorisation, but the competent German state authority decides the exact rule and accepted evidence for your case.

Can I start above A1?

A placement assessment should identify your starting level. Learners do not need to repeat material they can already demonstrate.
