1. What PIQSA does
PIQSA helps students and families research destinations, institution profiles, course areas, scholarships, deadlines, language learning, costs, document preparation and selected career pathways. Features and records may change as sources are reviewed. An enquiry, saved shortlist or draft application does not itself create an application to a university, a paid engagement, or an appointment as an official representative. If a paid service is available, its description, price, scope, delivery, cancellation and other terms must be shown before payment and form part of that transaction. Mandatory law applies first; otherwise the specific purchase terms govern the relevant service alongside these general Terms.

2. Accounts, age and acceptable use
Provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge, keep sign-in credentials private and report suspected account misuse through an official support channel. Never disclose passwords or one-time codes to someone claiming to be support. Users under 18 should involve a parent or lawful guardian in registrations, document uploads and purchases as required by law. You must not scrape or overload the site, bypass access controls, access another person's records, upload malware or unlawful content, impersonate another person, infringe intellectual property or falsify educational documents. Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law or maintain security, subject to applicable rights and required process.

Institution profiles, course details, scholarship notices, fees, cost estimates and deadlines are discovery aids and may be incomplete or change after publication. PIQSA does not itself award admission, scholarships, visas, employment or professional recognition. A listing is not an endorsement or official partnership unless a verified written statement expressly says so. Decisions remain with the institution, funder, employer, immigration authority or licensing body. Check current official prospectuses, notifications, eligibility rules and payment details directly before making a commitment. Prior-year cut-offs, advertisements and old screenshots are not guarantees of the next cycle.
Confirm requirements with the responsible official institution or authority.
Treat calculator outputs as estimates, not official quotes.
Do not pay an unofficial agent or share credentials because of a listing.

4. External providers, intellectual property and availability
External institution pages, government portals and communication or payment providers have their own terms. Unless a verified written statement says otherwise, a name or logo identifies a provider and does not indicate partnership. PIQSA's original design, text, software, branding and compilation are protected to the extent provided by law; you may use the website for personal, non-commercial research but may not scrape, republish or commercially exploit substantial content without permission or bypass site controls. Features may be updated, paused or discontinued for maintenance, security, legal reasons or product changes. We do not promise uninterrupted access where technology providers and network conditions are outside our control.
Use external providers under their own published terms.
Respect intellectual-property notices and database access limits.
Report broken features rather than attempting to bypass controls.

5. Payments, liability and disputes
Any paid service must show its price, applicable taxes, scope, billing details, delivery expectations and cancellation terms before commitment. Pay only through the approved checkout; do not pay a personal account based on an unsolicited message. The Refund Policy applies alongside specific order terms and mandatory law. To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit and for independently checking decisions based on general research. These Terms do not exclude statutory consumer remedies, liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or liability for fraud or wilful misconduct. Can a PIQSA profile replace an official prospectus?
No. Use the relevant institution's current official page and obtain written confirmation for fees, entry requirements, accreditation, course availability and deadlines.
Can these Terms waive every liability?
No. They do not remove rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
May I scrape the directory and sell my copy?
No. Personal research use does not permit unauthorised scraping, republishing or commercial reuse of substantial content.
